Procedure “A”

To register keys after ECU virginization:

1. Confirm the ECU is in registration mode by observing the security light for a steady blink.
2. Insert a key into the ignition without turning it. The security light should turn solid and then extinguish after a few seconds.
3. Wait 15 seconds.
4. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Repeat steps 2-4 for the second and third keys to be programmed.
6. Ensure the security light has gone out. If it remains illuminated, press the brake pedal five times to exit registration mode.

Additional Notes:
- The first two keys are programmed as Master keys, and the third as a valet key.
- To program fewer than three keys, repeat steps 2-4 multiple times. Some vehicles may REQUIRE all three keys.

Procedure “B”

To register keys after Immobilizer virginization:

1. Ensure no keys are in the ignition.
2. Close all vehicle doors, but do not lock them.
3. Insert a key into the ignition without turning it and leave it for 5 seconds.
4. Remove the key.
5. Repeat steps 3-4 two more times with additional keys to complete the registration process. (The first two keys will be masters, and the third a valet.)
6. After keys are registered to the immobilizer, synchronize the immobilizer with the ECU for the vehicle to start again:

- Insert a master key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (do not crank).
- Short terminals 4 and 13 in the OBD2 socket using a breakout box, resync dongle, or probe, and wait for 30 minutes.
- Remove the tool used to short 4 and 13.
- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
- Reinsert the key and test for proper operation.

Additional Notes:
- The first two keys are programmed as Master keys, and the third as a valet.
- To program fewer than three keys, turn the ignition on and off five times within 10 seconds, then remove the key. Some vehicles may REQUIRE all three keys.

Procedure “C”

To register keys after ECU virginization:

1. Confirm the ECU is in registration mode by checking that the security light is solid.
2. Insert a key into the ignition without turning it. The security light should turn off briefly, then return solid, indicating successful key registration.
3. Repeat step 2 three more times. Once the fourth key is programmed, registration mode will automatically close.
4. Insert a master key into the ignition and turn it to the ON position (do not crank).
5. Short terminals 4 and 13 in the OBD2 socket using a breakout box, resync dongle, or probe, and wait for 30 minutes.
6. Remove the tool used to short 4 and 13.
7. Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
8. Reinsert the key and confirm that the vehicle starts properly.
